Doctor Peter Murray has over 14 years experience in nursing and health informatics, with a recent focus on the development of distance and online education materials and methods. He has been an Expert Evaluator for European Commission Telematics Application Programme projects and a juror for the European Academic Software Awards. He has published widely and presented at national and international conferences on issues in online education, and maintains a range of web sites (including for external organisations). He is completing his PhD (in nursing informatics and educational technology, due summer 2001), investigating nurses’ use of computer-mediated communications for reflective practice.
