Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo, Norway.
Have 15 years of clinical practice from ICU and Cardiothorasic Surgery, and 10
years from healthcare research and administration.
Registered Critical Care Nurse, and holds a Master of Nursing Science from
University of Oslo.
Current reserach: wireless biomedical sensors, wireless sensor networks,
information retrieval from healthcare software applications.
Is involved in a number of research projects (http://www.ivs.no/wsn)
supported and funded by the Norwegian Reserach Council, Nordic Innovation
Centre, MedCoast Scandinavia and Innovation Norway.
Intersted in healthcare informatics, and Open Source Software applications.
Member of the Norwegian Association for Nursing Informatics. Former Board member
of the Norwegian Critcal Care Nurses Association, European federation of
Critical Care Nursing associations and the World Federation of Critical Care
Nurses. Current President of the Norwegian Society for Medical Informatics.
Co-Chair of EFMI LIFOSS WG and IMIA-SIG-NI OSNI WG.
