Rod Ward is a nurse with a clinical background in Accident and Emergency and 15 years in nurse education. His masters dissertation examined the teaching of IM&T to pre regisration student nurses and he has since been involved with various health informatics education programmes, with particular emphasis on e-learning components. He became involved with the Internet and World Wide Web developments in the early 90s and since 2000 has been the project manager for NMAP The UKs gateway to high quality Internet resources for Nurses, Midwives and Allied Professions.
